Well Domus certainly knocked me down with a feather. Never would I have connected the dots of 'Domus' (anyone who has eaten here before the makeover knows what I'm talking about) and 'Unicafé' with a 'memorable lunch experience' AND 'extremely good service'. But that's what you get - the salad choice was good, the soup was good, the bread didn't look like it came out of a plastic bag, the main course was safe cantineen stuff, the dessert was excellent, the coffee was not made yesterday, and the drinking glass size exceeds 1dl by a wide margin (Amica: take notice). And you get it all soup, salad, food, dessert and coffee for 9 bucks - now add to the vastly improved surroundings (gone is the depressive student prison feel), a cashier who goes over her head to serve you, and you've got in my opinion one of the bigger and more priceworthy surprises of the year 2010. I'm sure other reviewers will damper the enthusiasm that the place now extuberates, but you would have have to be here in 1996 to understand the 'knock off my socks' effect the place now has on me.
