Käyn säännöllisesti lounaalla. Todella laadukasta ja maistuvaa ruokaa - keitot herkullisia ja salaatit aina raikkaita ja monipuolisia. Kahvit ja teet parhaita mitä voi olla. Leipä taivaallista ja kakut suussasulavia. Eikä näihin ole kyllästynyt vaikka jatkuvasti on tullut käytyä. Mikä parasta, Qulmasta saa myös esteettistä ja sielun ravintoa - siellä on aina jokin taidenäyttely ripustettuna seinille, jota voi ihailla. Tällä hetkellä Alvar Gullichsenin taidetta.

Soppamies.
Hakaniemen hallista krunalaisiin maisemiin siirtynyt soppamies on kehittänyt hauskan keittobuffetideansa äärimmilleen. Kolmen keiton seisovan lounaspöydän vaihtoehdoiksi on tarjolla päivän salaatti tai tanskalaishenkinen smörre.
Rempseän nuorekas palvelu. Äärimmäisen tyylikäs ja harkittu sisustus. Ja ruoka. Persoonallisella otteella maustettuja perinnekeittoja, usein yksi hiukan ruokaisampi, yksi vähän kokeellisempi. Keittojen kustomointi onnistuu helposti, tarjolla on asiaankuuluvasti muutakin sopivaa kuin krutongit. Talon leivät öljyineen miellyttävät yhtälailla. Belgialainen tummapaahtokahvi maistunee vaativammallekin - ja kuuluu hintaan.
Joo joo, moni ei keittolounaasta ole valmis maksamaan lähelle kymmentä rahaa. Buffetmeiningillä vatsa tulee kuitenkin takuulla täyteen ja ruuan laatu on täysin käsi kädessä sen arvon kanssa. Siitä kertonee hyvin myös asiakaskunnan laajuus. Eläkeläispareja rinta rinnan trendikkäiden kaupunkilaisnuorten kera.

Happened to walk in, had a great lunch with three colleagues. It was exactly what i was looking for. The price is what I expected, but all in all, with the good service, the excellent food, the welcoming atmosphere and the speedy, personal touch...it was more than excellent and makes the price actually very cheap for what you get! Great work there, keep it up and your establishment can definitely teach some of the other Finnish places what service is about!

Kuulun vakioasiakkaisiin ja itsekin ravintola-alalla olleena voin lämpimästi todeta että vihdoinkin olen löytänyt paikan jossa tehdään yhtä hyvää tai usein jopa parempaa ruokaa kuin mitä itse osaan tehdä. Ja se on paljon!
Talon isäntä on huippu myyjätyyppi ja ystävällinen, jonka kaltaisia toivoisin muidenkin ravintolopiden henkilökunnan olevan.
Kokeilkaa myös ihanaa aamiaista.
Toivoisin myös että paikka voisi olla auki iltaisin ja viikonloppuisin.

It's not really fair to rate a restaurant on a single visit but as I don't suppose I'll go back, here's my pennyworth. A soup buffet is a very odd sort of food venture. I think the owner used to have the soup kitchen in Hakaniemi Market where it worked - and still works - extremely well. You order a bowl of soup; it's delicious and so is the bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar it comes with. But a soup buffet? What is one supposed to do with that? The day I visited I tried two and felt waterlogged. Should have stuck to one, I suppose - but then, what is the purpose of a buffet? One soup was carrot - which was, well, carrotty. The other a slightly meaty borscht thingy. Decent bread and little plastic cups of olive oil to dunk. Not much fun altogether though the ambience is restful and roomy and the host - the owner? - very obliging. But a soup buffet? I think it would be better if the quality and variety of the raw ingredients were upped a whole lot and customers simply chose a single one and were served a good big bowl of it.

Excellent lunch. I usually don't eat soup, but I was impressed by the soup buffet in Qulma. It is very good. The service is first class and the atmosphere relaxed. I strongly recommend this place!
