Ei oikein koskaan selvinnyt mikä maksoi niin paljon. Käyttiin taannoin borskeittot ja katkarapupasta eivätkä annokset olleet järrin maukkaita. Palvelu ja tilat olivat kyllä asialliset, vaikkakin tuona iltana paikka oli tupaten täynnä.

Ruoka oli hyvää, erittäinkin kelvollista. Melkein fine dining -luokkaa. Hintakin kyllä myös. Paikan ilme on miellyttävä ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Ilmeisesti on hyviä ja huonoja päiviä.

Kerran kävin, ruuat jäi syömättä, toiste en mene. On tuosta kerrasta jo jonkin aikaa, mutta harvoin ohikulkiessa tuolla kenenkään näkee syövän, minkä uskoisin olevan täysin oikea ratkaisu.

Ruoka on aina ollut ihan kelvotonta. Kolmannen yrityksen jälkeen ei ole tullut käytyä. En voi suositella. Mene mieluummin Maxiliin jos haluat tukea Gullichseniä.

I don't know what beef the other reviewers have with (or been served at) Rafla. I have never been disappointed, and we eat lunch and dinner here very often. The quality of the food is very good for this kind of neighbourhood joint - the cooking is very "modern basics" but the produce is always fresh and there is even place for some culinary surprises. We've always found the staff very friendly. The service can be a bit slow if the place is crowded. Seemingly one of the few places in helsinki where smoking is still allowed - at least for a while more. I don't smoke, I hate the smell of cigarettes when I eat and have not been disturbed by this, but it gives the place some character as it tends to draw some interesting clientele - who are as much part of creating the milieu as anyt design furniture

Lounaalla Rafla tarjoaa konstailematonta, mutta erittäin hyvää ruokaa. Henkilökunta on ripeä, mutta ei mitenkään erikoista. Itseäni häiritsee se, että tupakoitsijoille on sisältä varattu oma tila parhaalta paikoilta. Ruoka on hyvää lounaalla sekä muuten, mutta pienet asiat jää häiritsemään täydellistä ruokakokemusta.

Rafla tekee kaupungin parhaat kala-annokset lounasaikaan. Myös skandinaavinen perinneruoka, kuten beef wellington tai wallenberg toimivat aina. Wokit ja pastat sen sijaan ovat toisinaan varsin mitään sanomattomia.

I went there a lot to drink when I first moved here, so after nearly two year, I thought I would give its dinner a try. It was a big disappointment. I do not understand how a bar restaurant can charge you €26 for small pieces of steak. Well, maybe they could if the place was less chaotic, or staff more attentive and friendly.
my starter, tongue of reindeer, was interesting, but the salt and vinegar were so overpowering I could hardly taste the delicateness of the four pieces of tongue, which were a millimeter 'thick' each. Beatroot salad that accompanied was very nice, and its blandness helped reduced the acidity of the vinegar a little bit, though at this point, no taste of the tongue remains.
And oh, they still got a license for smokers till July 2009. And the only separation between smoking and non-smoking area is a space of 60cm between the tables.
