Aika jännä juttu, ettei mitään palvelua saa pöytiin, jos ei ole pöytävarausta. Eli olisimme halunneet ruuan ja oluiden lisäksi lasilliset punaviiniä ja meille kerrottiin , että ravintolassa on itsepalvelu;hakekaa tiskiltä.
Henkilökunnalla ei todellakaan ollut sillä hetkellä kiirettä. Ilmeisesti kauppa käy niin hyvin, ettei raha kelpaa. Emme todellakaan voi suositella kenellekään ainakaan hyvää palvelua.

Kiva miljöö, ok ruoka, tyly palvelu. Salaatti on poikkeuksellisesti hinnoiteltu muusta lounaasta erikseen, mikä herätti hämmennystä seurueessamme, ja ehkä tämän peruina saimme varsin viileää palvelua. Söin lounaaksi bataattikeittoa, joka maistui lähes yksinomaan garam masalalta. Bataatin omaa makua siitä ei erottanut.
Salaattipöytä oli hyvin ruokaisa, ja lounaan voi syödä pelkästään siitä vitosella. Pöydässä oli periaatteessa mielenkiintoisia makuja: vihannescouscousia, marinoituja kasviksia, perunasalaattia jne, mutta toteutus ontui usean lajin kohdalla: kasvikset esimerkiksi olivat kovia ja couscous kuivaa.
Ravintolan tilat ovat tunnelmalliset ja tuovat hyvällä tavalla mieleen merimieskapakan. Samaan hengenvetoon voisinkin todeta, että mielummin tänne tulisin iltaa istumaan kuin lounasta syömään.

Ruuassa on hyvä meininki ja se on tehty kunnon aineista. Monissa annoksissa on mukavasti sekaisin tuoreita kasviksia ja rasvaisempaa sielunruokaa. Miljöönä Telakka on viihtyisän boheemi ja maanläheinen, palvelu on ystävällisen suoraviivaista.
