Just the best cakes in town, with seriously good baked goods (cookies, croissants) available too. It feels a bit too much like a shop for me to enjoy sitting in, but their cakes are available in Design Forum cafe and Kaakaopuu. For their cookies, croissants etc you have to make the pilgrimage.

Especially their cheese cakes are something I enjoy indeed. Chocolate ones are borderline too sweet and dark for my taste, but very nice in small amounts. So far the best quality with a reasonable price in Helsinki.

The cake design and the number of different materials used in layer is good enough to be called as "cake" from my point of view. This is actually the first time I've experienced in Finland. It probably depends, but for me the size of the chocolate cake did not much well to the taste of it. It was even better either the size is smaller or the taste is not strong as it was. The cafe in Frederinkatu looks more in country style than in the one inside Design Forum.

Chocolate chips and cheesecake. For the best of these two pastries, come here! I absolutely love their cheesecakes, with the delicious citric flavor or the sour berry flavor. It's bordering on the line of guilty pleasure as I come and gorge myself. Sadly, the place is very small and you have very little chance to sit and enjoy your pieces of heaven, but that's ok, as soon as you get home fix a nice cup of hot drinkie and indulge away~!

Fantastic cake boutique - eat your way through the menu, it's a great hobby! And as far as I know, it's also the only place to get chocolate chips in Finland, full stop.
This is a takeaway cake joint, not a sit down place (ok there's two chairs but that's it), so atmosphere really counts for nil. They've recently expanded their offerings to include well curated drinks and teas, don't forget to sample those while you're there as well.
