Hienot puitteet, mutta ruoka ei yllä samalle tasolle. Seurueemme valitsi yllätysmenun, jonka alkuruokana tarjottu prosciutto-lautanen oli erittäin hyvälaatuinen ja maukas. Pääruoka, eli porsaan niska oli aivan tavanomaista peruspossua, mitä voi odottaa saavansa mistä tahansa ravintolasta, samoin jälkiruokana tarjottu creme brulee. Lisäksi yllätysmenun toivoisi sisältävän jotain yllättävää perusvarmojen ja -tasoisten ruokien tilalla, vaikka ei sen tarvitse sitä tarkoittaa (koskee siis erityisesti pää- ja jälkiruokaa). Annoskoko oli fine-dine ravintolaksi erittäin iso.

Tunnelma oli lämmin ja miljöö mukava. Alkuruokana söin caesarsalaatin naturellina, joka oli todella maukas ja rapeakin vuodenaikaan nähden (12/11).
Pääruoaksi otin Kämpin burgerin; ongelma oli kuivan ja sitkas pihvi, vapulle maistuva outo majoneesisotku (keep it simple!) joka muistutti koko loppuillan maustaan sekä jääkaappikylmä ketsuppi kipossa. Ei näin. Hiomisen varaa on isosti.
Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä ja minut huomioitiin heti ovella. Ei pöytävarausta.

Alkuruokana sipulikeitto oli vähän turhan iso annos ja hillosipulimaisen makea. Savustettu lohi oli hyvää vaikkakaan ei erityisen savuarominen. Sitruunamarenkijälkkäri on aivan liian makea jopa kaltaiselleni sokerihiirelle! Kaikenkaikkiaan aika ylihinnoiteltua. Palvelu oli ystävällistä mutta hidasta, vaikka ravintola oli tyhjillään. Kävin Kämpissa syömässä spaghettia a-la-carte lounasta. Tilasin äyriäisspagettia. Todella suuri annos! Hiemän liika öljyä, mutta OK. Reilusti äyriäisiä, mikä on suuri plussa. Parmesaani juustoa päälle voi olla hyvää! Mutta 18€ per lounas(!) spaghetti on ehkä liika. Toinen kerran tilasin salaatiin (joka oli tuplasti halvempi). Tällä kerta annos oli aivan liian pieni. Ranskalainen (?) tarjoilija toi mulle 3€ kivennäisvesi, vaikka sanoin että vain vettä juotavaksi. Siitä huolimatta todella, todella kaunis paikka (istuin sisäpuolella), aivan luksustunnelma. Upeat ruokavälineet, siisti ja rauhallista. Ympärillä istuivat kauniit ja hienosti pukeutuneet hotellin vierät juomassa kouhuviinia. Suosittelen sitä, kun halutaan koeta miltä rikas elämä tuntuu.

Karmea hampurilainen ja hidasta palvelua. Tarjoilijalta piti kysyä 3 kertaa, että saisimmeko ruokalistat. Terassi oli täynnä ja heillä oli ainoastaan yksi harjoittelija tarjoilemassa ja hän oli selvästi helisemässä. Tilasin burgerin kokolihapihvillä, iso virhe.. No, ensin burgeri tuli jauhelihapihvillä (joka oli itse asiassa ihan ok kun maistoin), mutta kun olin tilannut kokolihaburgerin, lähetin tämän takaisin keittiöön ja uusi odottelu ruokaa. Fileburgeri tuli.. ja se oli todella ala-arvoista. Liha maistui lähinnä vettyneelle pahville, en pystynyt syömään loppuun. Mieluummin olisin syönyt Big Macin tämän 27euron 'luksusburgerin' sijasta.
