Nukkuva vauva (kaupunkirattaat) ja äiti heitettiin ulos töykeästi ravintolasta pakkaspäivänä lounaskiireeseen ja periaatteeseen vedoten, vaikka lounas oli lopussa ja paikka jo aika tyhjillään. En ole ennen kokenut vastaavaa tilannetta Suomessa! Ei todellakaan (lapsi)ystävällinen paikka!

Excellent lunch thanks to the generous soup buffet, with three different soups and plenty of garnishing of the customer's choice (including smetana, pesto, croutons and nuts). The bouillabaisse was especially recommended by a seasoned customer, but all the soups were equally tasty (tomato soup and ... the name of the third one escapes me). Definitely worth the money. I must visit more often to discover all the other varieties of soup that were mentioned by previous reviewers.

Aamiaiseen kuuluu omavalintainen leipä (tarjolla on niin valkoista sämpylää kuin ruisleipääkin), turkkilaista jugurttia lisukkeineen (mm. pähkinöitä ja minttupestoa), mehua, vitamiinishotti ja kahvi/tee. Keittiöstä sai erikseen pyytämällä laktoosittoman/maidottoman leivän, myös soijamaitoa on tarjolla. Opiskelijakortilla aamiainen kustantaa 7 euroa (norm. 8,70 e).
Erityisesti omatekoinen minttupesto on kehunsa ansainnut, muutenkin terveellinen aamiainen oli todella maittava. Tila on viihtyisä ja palvelu ystävällistä. Ihanan isoista ikkunoista paistaa aurinko sisään, ja niistä on mukava katsella kadulle.

Mainio soppabuffet Kruunuhaassa. Hakaniemen hallin Soppamies on pistänyt pystyyn sopparavintolan Krunikkaan. Qulma on samalla myös kadunkulman kahvila suurilla ikkunoilla. Lounasaikaan kävi kuhina, mutta yksikään soppa kolmesta jättikattilasta ei loppunut kesken. Vaihtoehtoina oli ranskalaista sipulikeittoa, borssia ja fenkolia, listattuna asiakkaiden suosimassa järjestyksessä. Kaikki olivat hyviä, vaikka borssissa oli aika voimakas savuinen maku, melkein palanut. Vissiin tuli keittoon laitetusta lihasta. Lisukkeeksi keittoihin sai annostella krutonkeja, smetanaa, juustolastuja, paahdettuja pähkinöitä ja kurpitsansiemeniä.
