Olimme yötä Hotelli seurahuoneella ja sitä myöten aamiaisella Ravintola seurahuoneella. Odotin historiallisen kauniiden puitteiden puolesta aamiaiseltakin ehkä liikaa ja petyin hiukan. Aamiainen oli suppeampi mitä odotin. Ja tilat varsin pienet, sillä aamiaisella oli todellakin ruuhkaa ja näytti siltä, että mahtuuko minnekään edes istumaan. Tarjolla oli aika paljon samoja mitä yleensäkin aamiaisella, kasviksia, leikkeleitä, juustoja, erilaisia leipiä, pekonia ym.ym. Petyin esim. noihin lämpimiin tarjottaviin. Tarjolla oli vain pekonia, munakkokkelia ja puuroa. Odotin hiukan laajempaa valikoimaa. Tarjottavat olivat kuitenkin tuoreita ja niitä riitti, mikään ei loppunut kesken siitä plussaa. Samoin upea miljöö paransi hiukan tilannetta.

Tilasimme molemmille Menu Seurahuoneen. Alkuruoka oli hyvää. Pääruoan pihvi olisi saanut olla hivenen kypsempi, mutta muutoin annos oli maukas. Jälkiruoka oli todella hyvää. Menu-kokonaisuus oli tarpeeksi täyttävä, mutta pelkän pääruoan syöjälle oli jäänyt nälkä. Palvelu oli hieman teennäistä, mutta asiallista ja ripeää.

Seurahuone on yksi Helsingin miellyttävimmistä ravintoloista. Upea tunnelma, historian siipien havinaa... Ja ruoka on aivan käsittämättömän hyvää! Seurahuoneella ymmärretään hyvien raaka-aineiden merkitys. Viikoittain vaihtuva lounaslista tarjoaa tosi mielenkiintoisia makuelämyksiä ja ainakin meidän siellä käydessä listalla oli myös suhteellisen edullinen pastavaihtoehto. Ja a la carte-listakin tuntuu uusiutuvan riittävän useasti. Kannattaa kokeilla!

Ravintola Seurahuone on uskomattoman kaunis ja tunnelmallinen ruokailupaikka. Vuosien hakemisen jälkeen Seurahuone on päässyt takaisin Helsingin ykkösravintoloiden joukkoon. Ruoka on erittäin laadukasta, ammattitaidolla tehty, palvelu korkealaatuista ja koko ruokailukokemus on elämys. Tänne tulen uudestaan! Socis-klubi-illat ovat myös kokemisen arvoisia (mahtava ajatus yhdistää hyvä ruoka ja konsertti/stand up-ilta). Täysi kymppi!

Seurahuone tuntuu olevan turhaan unohdettu keskustan ravintola. Ainakin syömäni lammas oli mureaa ja lisäkkeet maittavia. Perunamuusin ja juuresten lisäksi lautaselle oli ripoteltu cashew-pähkinöitä, jotka toivat kivaa lisäkettä hyvin klassiseen annokseen. Alkuruoaksi syömäni korvasienikeitto oli tosin hieman mauton. Lounaslista oli erittäin suppea, kaksi vaihtoehtoa per ruokalaji, mutta illan a la carte lienee kattavampi. Palvelu oli sujuvaa ja ystävällistä, mutta lisäpisteitä on pakko antaa ylellisen historiallisesta sisustuksesta. Vain YkkösBonus-drinkkimainokset pilasivat tunnelman. Ihan hyvää perinteistä ravintolaruokaa kohtuuhinnalla ydinkeskustassa. Tänne voi tuoda Kilpisjärven mummonkin.

Hieno meininki Seurahuoneella taas vuosiin...mielenkiintoinen ruokalista. Ruoka todella hyvän makuista ja korkealaatuista, ilman liikoja kikkailuja. Mukavia makuyhdistelmiä. Iloinen tarjoilu ja palvelu. Keskiviikon Jazz-ilta todella käymisen arvoinen, unohtamatta upeaa Bar Socista. Jatkakaa samaan malliin!!

Turhan vaatimaton kokonaisuus. Miljöö hieno, mutta ruoka välttävää. Panostamista makuihin ei maistanut, tehtiin vain oleellinen ilman sen suurempaa innostusta. Keskeisellä paikalla, mutta silti paikka lähes tyhjä (lauantai iltapäivä). Punaviiniasiantuntemus hakusessa, muuten palvelu toimi. Ei syntynyt ikimuistoista kulinaarista elämystä.
