Fast food/chainsWent to test our neighborhood pizzeria. As a wings aficionado I wanted to try out the wings, 16 pieces (9,50€). My companion opted for the Frutti di Mare pizza (6,00€).
It was a Saturday evening and we decided to eat at the pizzeria. There were loads of people ordering to go and getting stuff delivered so it took some time to get our orders. But we busied ourselves with the magazines and weird decor (Elvis pictures?!).
The wings set was fairly good. At least compared to some of the ones I've had in various establishments around Tampere. They were deep friend, which is a must! They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They came with the usual cucumber and carrot sticks and blue cheese dip. The only minus is that there was not enough sauce. But the sauce that they did have was good. Mind you they only have one strength of sauce, at least I wasn't asked if I wanted mild, hot or extra hot. But even so the sauce was good.
My companions Frutti di Mare was well worth the price (6,00€). The pizza was a nice size with a thin crispy crust and juicy melt-y cheese topping.
They also do kebab, chicken fillet dishes and various veggie/salad options and as a random addition basic Finnish grill fare (burgers, makkaraperunat and lihapiirakka).
Will definitely go for pizza next time. I'm glad there is a decent pizza place close by.

Pizza, jossa kokonaisuus on suht kohdallaan. Tilasin Fantasia-pizzan, jossa on 3 perustäytettä (6e) ja 1 lisätäyte (+ 1e): tonnikana, katkarapu, ananas, aurajuusto. Pizzan luvattiin valmistuvam 10 minuutissa. Annalan Siwalle kannatti lähteä ajoissa, sillä pizza oli jo valmis 7 minuutin ajomatkan jälkeen. Pizzeria on hyvällä paikalla ja sisustus on perinteisen yksinkertainen ja siisti; täällä voisi syödä myös paikan päällä. Kotona laatikosta paljastui kotipizzan-tyyliin graham/kuitujauho -tyyppinen pohja, jossa täytettä oli juuri sopivasti: ei liian vähän eikä liian paljon lähes perinteisessä tomaattikastikkeessa. Huom. miinusta kaikille muille pizzoille, joissa on kinkkua, sillä ne on valitettavasti valmistettu marketin järkyttävistä kumipötköistä.
