Slow service, impolite treatment.
The evening at Farouge had one highlight: the good company of friends.
The dinner was spoiled by the terrible service! Soon after taking our places, the manager of the restaurant gave us her feedback because, as a couple of friends could not join for a last minute drawback, she could not fill two seats left empty.. the only empty seats in the whole restaurant. Then, she made sure to sell (sell, sell, sell) us the aperitifs of the house and disappeared. After the starters we had to wait the main course for more than 45 mins! The staff of the restaurant was too busy to serve us (six person); a Christmas party was more important.
The food was ok, except for the cheap (and frozen) grilled vegetables. I do not recommend.
Oh boy, at Ristorante Como you can order the smallest and priciest bruschetta in Tampere. .not really what you would expect considering that for bruschetta you need bread! You might wonder, probably they used some crazy expensive toppings to justify the high price, maybe white truffle from Piemonte? No way, just cheese (very ordinary provolone) and rucola. 5.70€ for a mouthful of bread is an insult! If you order a glass of red wine, you most probably will get it straight from the fridge, a killer move. The service? Polite but slooow, +20 mins to get a pizza, and the restaurant was half empty. Finally, it takes a lot more than an Italian name to retain customers...
In Finnish, "muru" means "darling"; Samuil & c. kept their promise. These guys make you feel like friends at their housewarming party: genuine atmosphere, brilliant fun, enjoyable time, good food and well presented. Absolutely to try... I had the softest reindeer ever eaten, cooked perfectly, in good harmony with the flavor of the side "muusi". Thanks guys, see you soon! : )

The staff was competent, available and friendly. I really liked the concept, it´s great (and rare) that you can´t take pride in using just local ingredients. Da visitare!
