Good, innovative kitchen. Starters were good, with especially the chocolate reindeer excellent and an interesting combination. Coq au vin was very good, with good sauce and balance of taste. Almond fish was too tricky with the fish taste disappearing somewhere. Nice touch was the mix of hot blueberry and cold raspberry drink before desserts. Both desserts were good, although the different tastes didn't come through very clearly. Overall, a very nice experience with good food, good service and matching wines. If the taste of different ingredients would be clearer, the restaurant would really shine. In any case one place in Helsinki you should not miss.
Fresh Sushi tasted great! I had Sushi set menu, it was really fresh and tasted good, Miso soup wasn't special. Was able to taste their new noodles menu, taste really like what you can get in Asia. Hope they will offer the new menu soon.
Tasty food with some positive surprises. Our salmon carpaccio and fish soup were absolutely excellent. Mushroom soup and kuha were ok, but nothing special. Menu is very straightforward and service is good, and at a reasonable price, an amazing deal!
Excellent blueberry pie for dessert. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service combined with good food. We liked especially the steak sauce, which was very intensive.
Great place to have a small coffee break before go to the school. Go average 2 times to this place for a day soup or coffee with freshed backed bread. Service is friendly and bread is absolut unforgotten.
Food was a disappointment. We had a vegetarian dish with spinach, where the spinach was hardly recognizable as such. Meat dish with lamb was better, but nothing special. Naan bread was good, and price was very affordable.
We started with pastries, which were good. Especially the spinach-filled ones with lemon taste were good, as well as the youghurt sauce served with them. Sea bass was good, but slightly overcooked, with very good lemon sauce. Lamb was good, but would prefer cleaning the hard fat off it before cooking. Sauce was slightly sweet, but actually matched very well. Lebanese pancakes were sweet and nicely served with the taste of the ingredients coming through.
