I was disappointed in the experience here. The food was ok, but it seemed like it was plated a bit fancier than it actually was. The tarte tartin would've made French people cry. The servers were nice, but slow.

I love this place! I crave authentic mexican food, and this is it! too often Tex Mex gets confused with mexican. I love the fresh corn tortillas, and the atmosphere is fun. Also the margaritas are real (rather than the frozen strawberry kind you get everywhere here) and reasonably priced.

My favorite! I missed Mexican food so much until I found out about this place.

Mexican food is my favorite, and I'm so happy there are some great choices now in Helsinki. I had the chicken with mole sauce (the chocolatey sauce), and it was very good. The atmosphere is great and fun as well. Excellent starter list. We had the tasting plate, and it was wonderful. The only drawback was the prices. Part of that is my own perspective having grown up with authentic food at a tiny fraction of the price, but even in Helsinki, Pueblo (sorry to mention another restaurant here!!) sells identical tacos for far less. I would also be happy to pay the higher price for more selection. There's not a lot to chose from for vegetarians or those who dont eat red meat. Of course they have not been open long, so maybe they will expand the menu later. Overall though, the higher price might keep me from visiting as often as I would like (it's not hard to make guac at home), but this is really a novelty here so I think as reflected in the reviews most people are happy to pay this price. Lastly, the tequila list was amazing, and I loved the delicious cocktails. Definitely worth a try!

Wonderful, attentive service! They pay attention to detail, check with you soon after your food arrives, and offer complimentary salad and bread, which is a nice surprise at this price point. The server even ran outside after us when she had seen we forgot our take-away menu :) The food was delicious and filling, and of course an excellent deal for the city center

This is a cute restaurant with nice, simple food. Helsinki needs more quick restaurants of this sort! The one problem I had was they served 2 of us our meal, then took 2 meals to another group before serving our 3rd person. Even though it's fast food, I think that can be a bit rude and unpleasant when you sit and look at your delicious blini until your friend is also served. Also, the borscht did not compare to others I've had nearby. Overall though the blinis were wonderful and a great value!

As far as "fusion" goes, it's a decent effort, but for me personally I did not feel a real mexican influence in a creative way. Maybe the Finnish influence was more obvious. the guac was great, but the salsa was bland. I enjoyed my habanero beef taco, but there was no trace of habanero. Overall the food was good, but I more enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the excellent service. The food was also very fairly priced, so I would certainly visit again. It's much better than the typical tex mex restaurants here that serve canned guac and food with little spice.

The server was attentive, but a bit flirtatious since we were a group of girls. The wine selection is nice, but beyond the starter menu and kebabs, it's nothing special or very authentic to deserve such a price. I've been there twice, but feel I will make lebanese at home in the future or visit cheaper options. The restaurant itself looks lovely, but there are other places to celebrate with friends that offer better value.

I love this place! It's just around the corner from home, so I find myself there maybe too much :) It has a great, no-nonsense atmosphere. They concentrate on the food, which is excellent when you want a nice homestyle meal. Best borscht in Helsinki! I like that the menu changes, too, so you can always be pleasantly surprised.

I can't wait for brunch in Helsinki to catch up with Chicago. The European style selection was nice, but nothing so special that I couldnt have thrown it together at home. The portions were quite big, too. The other option at the time was a burger with no twist at all. That = lunch. Plus the meat wasn't great quality. The juice was just that sugary stuff you mix into water. The staff was borderline rude, so there wasn't much to entice me to come there again since the food didn't wow me.
