The alacarte menu is better than the sushi buffet, but the sushi buffet offers a really good deal. I can't eat at any other sushi buffet in Helsinki, because there were some pretty vile ones, or ones where its basically just a huge lump of rice with a small piece of salmon snapped on. In the lunch buffet you find a lot of variety, which is nice, and even some salads. The ala carte was very fresh and interesting fusion sushi available among another things. I highly recommend it.

Good sushi, only slightly pricier than other sushi places but you know it will be fresh (back review, about 1. 5 years ago).

Decent sushi, usually fresh (back rating from a year ago). The atmosphere isn't spectacular, its a regular sushi place, but the freshness is usually ok. The other ichiban, the one in kamppi had some horribly unfresh fish in it.

Dryest chicken possible. I had not known that its possible to make chicken taste and feel so bad until I came to this restaurant. Chicken boiled for 3-4 hours in a soup has more flavour than this, and if you can imagine the texture of that, it was as rough as that. Unless you're extremely hungry, I don't really recommend this place, but maybe if you don't choose chicken you will have better luck.

Coming from an asian background, in tasting some of the asian food there, there were some highlights and then some things which were not impressive for an asian palate. For example, the kimchi was of a high quality, but I think I order some duck rolls and they were just entirely saturated by a sweet sauce, as were many other things. It was not a very subtle taste, it was mostly saturated in some kinda of syrupy sauce. I remember dessert was kind of average, maybe I just ordered an icecream. This was quite a while ago. I am gluten intolerant and mentioned this to the waiter so as to not have any gluten in it, but somehow I still had a stomach pain later. The atmosphere is nice, social, if not a bit crowded (even more cramp than most restaurants in asia, since this place seems to be so popular). I would try it if you have never stepped outside Finland or europe before, but as far as the Asian part of the cuisine, its definitely not comparable to being in Asia. There are some better dishes, go with the popular ones. I think the beef hotpot we had was nice. It's just been a long time I would run down everything I ate there, but this was about a year ago, but for me this place is trendy and a bit overhyped, but it also wouldn't disappoint most people, it has a tendency towards sweet or very rich sauces.

Burger patties seem to come from a freezer, shapeless, machine made patty, which didn't taste like quality beef. It looks more like those patties that come in those microwave burgers at the supermarket (if not tasting that bad, but at least by looks). Side salad was ok, but that's not what I come to a burger place for. Non-descript tasting sauce (actually tastes like thousand island dressing straight from a bottle) on a pretty bad patty means it would have been probably better if I made myself a burger at home. To top it off, ordering an orange juice gives you the lowest quality juice possible, like straight from those 0.60 cent/litre juice packets. Will never go there to eat.
