I think this is a fancy restaurant for many people, but for me the tasting was too sweet and too strong for every plates I have tried so far. The reservation and stuff handling was great so enjoyed the stay.

Tried almost all "Sapas" plates from the list and enjoyed them a lot. I love the idea to use the local materials and the sense of the taste and the looks was very good and interesting. Would have been even better if I could drink a good white wine with them as I believe all plates are designed for it. Main course looked also very nice.

I would say it's the best place to eat Italian in the area. all the Pasta menu I've tried was good. Which is not ike Finnish traditional pasta which is too much boiled and served with paste from the bottle. Pizza looks good enough but I recommend to have pasta. Fish main course was also good with lots of vegetables but the quality of fish is limited. Panna cotta was also good with sour berry source and decorated nicely. The price is not too expensive if you think of what you can get in Vantaa. What I like the most is that they serve also a proper pasta or pizza for kids, too. I don't want my child to eat junk food in standard kids menu.

this is first time I've found the Japanese restaurant in Helsinki where provides good enough interior design and good enough Japanese food. I used to have better rating for them before, but they have now changed the structure of lunch menu, and bit more higher pricing and also the quality of the food is not stable as I expect.

It was more like having am entertainment of taste rather than simply having a dinner. They pick some of the course items depending on your choice so you don't really know what is coming until you see it. So there was actually two plates I did not like the taste at all. However these 2 plates were even enjoyable to see the new possibilities. I think the chef was also influenced by Japanese cooking style as I could see many essence from it. The way he used the flower to add bitterness reminds me of my soul foods.

The cake design and the number of different materials used in layer is good enough to be called as "cake" from my point of view. This is actually the first time I've experienced in Finland. It probably depends, but for me the size of the chocolate cake did not much well to the taste of it. It was even better either the size is smaller or the taste is not strong as it was. The cafe in Frederinkatu looks more in country style than in the one inside Design Forum.

I'm a korean food lover. I wish there's more korean restaurants in Helsinki so that I can have lots of kimchi with healthy vegitables small dishes, good meet or a sul-long-tang. So far Korea house is the only place I have found here in Helsinki region.

When feeling like to eat Italian, its nothing to do with pizza. I was happy to find some of the food I really wanted to eat there at Gastone. I liked the service, atmosphere which is not too formal but effective and stylish. It was pity that the taste second menu (I had Pescatre and my partner had ravioli) was too sharp/ too salty /and too big? so we had to skip the main course. I enjoyed arranged version of pannacotta, too.

Can't live without good cakes and sweets.. This is the best place to get a cake I have found so far in Helsinki. They do not have nothing special but standard pie with berries only and these taste the best. I'm happy to found finally the cakes that is not just sweet in Finland.

I liked the branch there when I first visited and the professional old man who served me. However its a bit disappointing that they have typical cafe food there (not especially good or anything) as they have a very nice furniture and atmosphere. They serve healthy looking green tea but it is too expensive for me to drink if that is not properly served.

one of my best place to have lunch. good soup, enough amount of it with good price. The soup bar seems to be run by 2 handsome men and they are not too friendly or too less.

Its a very small restaurant and not recommended for groups.

The food was very big and did not taste fresh. Tikka did not look like tikka at all. Samosa was too oily. Also it was so hard to find a person to take order, or to leave the restaurant.
