I was wrongly recommended
Just came back from Oulu in Finland. Very nice small city. During my trip I was getting crazy for good Indian food as my Nokia office restaurant and the hotel has limited choices for my taste buds. Suddenly, I met a quite elderly tall Indian gentleman in the city center. He said this restaurant is having the best Indian in town. So got excited and invited my local college for a dinner with me. The restaurant is small well decorated or should I say “over decorated” and too clumsy. I still kept my hopes high “Indian food after 5 days”. I ordered some starters which were ok but not the best. Main course came but, I was trying to find the taste and flavor. After a couple of spoons, felt very angry as this cannot and not way be the best Indian. Food is ok but, not the best. Naan bread came to the table. I donot like naan bread taste like a papadam. So, my hopes diminished. Some how managed to finish our food and my colleague as I could feel was not satisfied. I will visit Oulu again and try to find that gentleman and ask why he recommended me a place which is not that good. Ofcouse would like to visit other Indian restaurants also and will report how good they are.
