JOstain syystä melkein joka kerta olen hieman pettynyt tässä ravintolassa ruoan makuun. Olipa kyse sitten friteeratuista lihapullista (!) tahi muusta, ei ole kaupungin kärjessä. Take away-hinnat hyviä, eli hinta/laatu kyllä kohtaavat. Ok paikka peruskinkkisapuskan hakemiseen, eikä odotteluaika ole koskaan ollut pitkä (onko se sitten hyvä vai huono asia, on eri kysymys).

"Pekingin ankka" täytyy tilata etukäteen mutta se on täyttä huijausta. Tavanomaisia ankansiivuja tavanomaisessa kastikkeessa. Pienet alkupalat muistuttivat hyvin etäisesti Pekingin ankan dieaa. Mistä tahansa saa parempaa ankkaa. Surkea kokemus, hirveästi ylihinnoiteltu.

Went to have lunch with two friends. We were looking for something cheap, fast and filling. At lunch time Lotus Garden has your average chinese lunch buffet.
The salad table has corn, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber etc. and I walked right past that stuff to the steaming piles of pork, chicken, beef...
I didn't taste the soup but apparently it was good but not spicy. It had chicken and bits of mushroom so I guess your generic buffet soup. In stead I went straight for the fried noodles and different meats. The noodles were a little greasy but still very good. I also liked all the meat dishes. The pork dish was especially good with big thick slices of succulent pork in some thick sauce. They also had some deep fried wings which I topped with some of the mystery sauce they have in little pots at the table. Yummy!
The food was what we expected. Predictable, safe, good and filling. Lotus Garden gets extra points for the Geisha chocolates with your tea/coffee and for the very nice but non-intrusive service. Would go back for the lunch buffet or take away (-50%).

Eräs ystävä suositteli ja menimme, mutta toiste en mene. Palvelu oli huonoa ja ruokakin melko mitään sanomatonta, kallista se ei tosin ollut.

Palvelu oli hyvää siihen asti kunnes kokki toi take-away annokset keittiöstä, ja miltei heitti annokset käteen, "Pekingin kana ja kanaa ananaksella". Muuta kommenttia ei herunut. Annokseen käytetty maunpoistajaa melkoisen onnistuneesti, sillä molempien annosten kana on kuin pahvia söisi... Pekingin kanassa sentäs yleensä on potkua. Pysyn "pikku-kinkin" asiakkaana.

Paikka on pitänyt korkeantasonsa vuodesta toiseen, laadusta ei ole tingitty. Palvelu on ripeää ja ammattitasoista. Tunnelma on hillitty juuri sopiva, ei yliampuva. Annokset runsaita. Suosittelen.

Todella mukava paikka, take away -annokset edullisia ja todella suuria. Tullut käytyä kahden vuoden sisällä n. 2 kertaa kuussa ja aina yhtä hyvää ruokaa. Palvelu ystävällistä ja nopeaa! Lounasbuffetkin herkullinen.
