With Cafe Bar 9 you know what you're getting. The food service is always slow but it's worth waiting for. On Sunday we waited an hour for 2 meals. Last night I waited 50 minutes for my pasta. But the food is good, no doubt about it. And it's a place with a lively atmosphere, lots of people watching and the time passes quickly.

Unfortunately our evening was ruined by some off-duty Cafe Bar 9 staff last night. My friends and I had sat at a table next to them for 3 hours. Then two of the women who had got particularly drunk on pints of beer and shots of liquor told us they had only let us "borrow" our table, and now they were demanding it back. We were told that we should move or there would be trouble.

In the end our group decided to leave Cafe Bar 9 so there wouldn't be any more trouble. But it is unacceptable for staff - on duty or off duty - to get drunk and abusive towards paying customers and basically force them to leave the restaurant.

Think twice before you go. And read a few of the other reviews here as many of them have comments about the attitude of the staff in Cafe Bar 9.
