Long wait for your average kebabroll. The staff seems to be sorry about the long wait (multiple times during 20 minutes of wait) while they should just do something about it. If it's a slow or small oven that causes the wait, please get a new better/bigger one. At the time of my visit there was three people working in the citchen and about 15 customers. Also very expensive. 13.5€ for an average roll made of mediocre ingredients. Why wont they use real feta and good meat. With quicker service time and high quality ingredients there would be some potential for a good "roll-place". Still nothing compared to the standard of Berlin, Paris or New York rolls. It's all about the ingredients. Also the music is pretty bad, I'd rather hear some traditional (turkish?) music than this elevator stuff. The staff was veryvery kind and polite, that's always a bonus. There´s potential there but unfortunately, at least for now there is still zero good kebab/roll- places in Helsinki.
Simply the best experience one can get in Helsinki. This long time favorite of mine always surprises with the professional service and great menu. The food is simply delicious and the overall experience is very nice and honest. Possibly "honest" is the best word to describe Kuurna. If you wan´t something similar but little bit fancier, you should head to Atelje Finne. It´s a restaurant in Etu-Töölö district and has the same owner and same ingenious menu-system. Highly recommended.
