Went there the other night, a Friday night. Mostly empty at 8pm and so service was swift! The food was well presented and I enjoyed the cooking pan my entree was served in. The food was good and all in all I enjoyed the epxerience. I tad expensive, but that seems to be the norm when dining out in Turku.

In my opinion, the best family restaurant in Turku, a great place to meet friends, alive and bustling, somewhat noisy in the best way. A little cramped and the salad bar access is a problem during busy hours, but all in all a great place. The menu is basic, meat and fish. There are pizza's but I don't ever remember seeing someone have the pizza there. The pepper steak is heavenly with a kick, the weiner schnizel is to die for and my dining companion loves the leaf steak and it is consistently good. Excellent service and always friendly diners and when you see smiles in a restaurant in Turku you know someone is doing something right! A must go and do so soon and often!

The management is the worst, rude and when busy service is terrible. I was verbally assaulted by the hostess here one busy Saturday night when I requested a table. She was so rude that I promised never to return and I haven't. That said and out of the way, the tapas at Torre was always consistently good, fairly priced and well presented. If you go during off peak hours maybe your service will be much better than mine always was.

What can I say about Sergio's? One of the finer places in Turku, the staff, especially Domenico, Francisco and Sergio are a pleasure to visit with; a reminder of foods and lands beyond this fair city. The pasta dishes are well done, the starters different and if expensive, a rare treat. The secondi excell. Good service, usually with a flourish, an excellent wine selection and that personal touch is what brings me back to Sergios.

The service here is always consistent. Most of the times service is good, better than most places. When you eat here, you know what you are getting. There are no surprises. The menu is basic, the food is good, the atmosphere good. The area is always clean and the staff friendly. OK, here is the BUT! The prices are ridiculous! 15 euros for a burger! Crazy. Too expensive for what you get!

Good rollo kebab. Consistent service and great location next to my favorite hotel.
