Menin seuralaisineni testaamaan hyväksi kehuttua salaattibuffaa Bankiin. Kello 11 aikoihin ei ruuhkaa ollut, mikä on aina plussaa. Tunnelmassa on parantamisen varaa, onhan se hieman ruokalamainen. Homma kuitenkin toimi loistavasti ja salaattibuffa oli oikein mainio. Esillepano raikas ja siisti. Erityisen hyviä olivat pavut, artisokka ja kermaviilikastike. Kyllä nälkä lähti ja buffetista löytyi vaihtoehtoja jokaiseen makuun. Palvelu oli neutraalia, kassaneidillä jopa ripaus huumoria mukana, mikä on aina plussaa. Kaikenkaikkiaan keskivertoa parempi.

Peruslounas seisovasta pöydästä. Vaihtoehtoja oli paljon, sillä pystyi valitsemaan joko Bistron puolelta kasvisluonasta tai salin puolelta kaikkea muuta mahdollista. Palvelu oli olematonta (ei hyvää eikä huonoa), mutta voi johtua myös kovasta kiireestä. Ei sykähdyttävän hyvä, muttei huonokaan.

Nopeasti vetävät linjastot ja prameat puitteet tekivät vaikutuksen, kun suurella lounasporukalla oltiin liikkeellä. Pitkiin pöytiin mahtui hyvin muodostamaan keskustelevia ruokailukuntia ja korkea kattokorkeus imi hyvin tilasta melun, vaikka paikka oli lounasaikaan täynnä. Vaihtoehtoehtoja pääruoaksi riitti menua aulassa lukiessa, mutta linjastopisteiden nimeämistavasta tuli mieleen Viking Line. Lehtipivi oli ehtinyt jäähtyä odottaessaan syöjäänsä avonaisessa tarjoilualtaassa, mutta hyvä annos oli silti.

Very tasty cured lamb bruschetta! Tofu main course was good but not fantastic. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy what they got, though. Fast friendly service, yuppie design atmosphere and prices to match.
Vakiasiakkaat eivät varmaan tajua millainen aarre heillä on työmaaruokalanaan.
Salaattipöytä oli monipuolinen, leipiä oli hyvä valikoima, ja hernekeitto ( torstaina ) oli HYVÄN MAKUISTA ! Hernekeitto!
Ja pannukakku olisi kuulunut lounaaseen myös, seuralainen popsi omansa onnellisena. Itse katsoin vierestä kateellisena kun en syö sokeria. Hillo ja kermavaahto kruunasivat sen ihanuuden. Onneksi lounaaseen kuului myös hyvä kahvi jonka sai itse hakea.
Tiskit sai itse palauttaa keittiöön menevälle hihnalle.
Ystävälllinen ja järjestelykykyinen henkilökunta saa ilmeisesti tämän ravintolan toimimaan hyvin.
Paikan maine on ilmeiseti kiirinyt kauemmaksikin. Eteisessä näkyi pari japanilaista turistia.
