My first experience at the restaurant with friends to try promotional Truffle set menu. Although rather good value the set menu started with a wonderful mushroom and truffle soup, but followed with an undercooked yet flavourful risotto, a disappointing bland roast chicken with mash and veggies, and a standard chocolate truffle dessert lacking in promised orange flavour. The service was a little rushed and the restaurant was a little cramped for room and comfort, although the view across Esplanadi was pleasant in the evening. My partner however said she was pleased with the risotto from the menu. Relatively good value, perhaps I could just try the pizza or a pasta next time to save my overall disappointment.
