Lunch buffet offers the "build your own taco" buffet for under €12. We went on a Tuesday early in August, the place was packed at 13:00. Try not to be in a hurry, seems like a line forms to the buffet and it takes some time to navigate, but worth the wait. Food is the real deal, fresh and perfect for lunch.

The biggest disappointment overlooking the sea. My wife and I were expecting something better than ABC or Hessburger for a good feeling dinner on our way up north. They offer a buffet that, on paper, looks great. They listed lemon fish and other tasty sounding foods. The price was good, less than 9€ per head, coffee included (no dessert). The disappointing reality was that we would have better food from any local grade school. Their buffet consisted of foods rehydrated, defrosted and microwaved to mush. The lemon fish? Frozen fish sticks served mushy. They brought out a ham kiusaus made of frozen potatoes and bagged ham, covered with cream. (It did show signs of having visited the oven to heat it up). It was dry and tasteless. Rice and mashed potatoes were offered, I took the rice which was bland and dry. I tried the sausage sauce, a huge disappointment. The sausage was cooked to mush (literally it had no texture to it anymore and turned to mush in your mouth) and the brown sauce was reconstituted from powder and was more of a gel than a sauce. Even the salad was sad, no thought put into it, bagged bitter shredded lettuce with cabbage mixed in, then sad accompaniments and only one dressing offered. Any school cafeteria would have provided a better meal.
What's so sad is that the place does have potential, great location and the kitchen did appear to have the necessary stoves and tools needed to do a good job. Obviously they don't rely on return customers. It was the laziest buffet I've seen. The dining room was sterile and uninviting, a shame given the sea views. The men's bathroom was disgusting, it could use a good spring cleaning. We did not order from the a la carte menu, one is offered. If you are looking for halfway decent food, just keep driving. Hessburger or ABC are probably close by.
