The French man (who seems to be the owner) always looks mad or upset with something. The lady (who seems to be his wife) always looks pissed off and unsatisfied with something I could not fathom. The espresso there is probably best in town. Recently, i started buying some coffee from the guy, and he started smiling. And with a bag of coffee beans, he'd give me a free espresso :) his wife still doesn't smile, though.

Nice selections but not so italian. Pizzas are quite nice.

Nice service, although I felt discriminated somehow. I was put in the table in a corner even though there are empty tables around. No waitress would come serve me until I went up to one of them. The food was quite good, but nothing worth going back.

nice atmosphere and great to drop in on a warm weekend afternoon. Huge pulla and salad dishes, but not so tasty. pretty bad coffee, but where can you get good a one in Helsinki?

I had very special dishes there once for a weekend lunch: spinach tagliatelle with truffle butter. Simple and elegant dish. The service was so-so, but the space was really nice.

Authentic? Says who? Thick-floury stir-fried sauces with MSG overdosed lunch dishes are quite appalling.

Dinner gets much better, though I still would not say authentic. Have to have fried dried beef strip with chili, though. Went there with a big group of chinese friends who knew the owner well, but still the food did not get more authentic as I had hoped.

The service is very nice and friendly. They remember me for being the guy wh doesn't want maku suola (MSG), lol.

Had lunch there once and I was surprised at the quality, although nothing super special. The space is not so cosy though, for food or for drinks later in the evening.... it's like a student cafeteria...

The salads are always quite nice. But sometimes the watermelon that accompanies the salad are a bit off-tasting and warm - seems they left t our of the fridge too long. And this did not happen once.

Food quality not really consistent. Service is really depending on who is serving. Price for main dishes are alright, but coffee and cakes (which are very very nice!) are quite expensive - but you pay for the lovely atmosphere and beautiful view.

I know it's supposed to be a posh place, belonging to a posh chain, so please, don't act like a cheap bar. 1. Please charge extra two euros to my dishes instead of making me pay for the wardrobe. Makes me feel like a student who might come in for cheap drinks. 2. Please do not serve me plastic bottled water and leave it on my table. i'd rather pay to have tap water in a glass carafe 3. Please do not pretend to be professional waitresses/waiters when you can't even respond to simple requests 4. In good design, i believe the principle is form follows functions. I'm quite short but my legs barely fit under the tables by the window. The atmosphere was so cold and uninviting. 5. I would pay this kind of price only for the food I can't make at home. And what I had there definitely could be cooked by myself - at less than a quarter the price. What did I pay for? The name or the interior design - which, by the way, was awful.

Had a nice grilled beef salad there. Amazing! Would like to try a few other dishes there though, but have not got the chance.
Service is slow, despite my friends and I being the only customers there during the time.
