On my recent visit to Tampere, I had 4 hamburgers at various places. .. (I just had to see if anyone could make a burger as good as where I'm from, Texas...)

Unfortunately, I was unable to find a burger as good as they make them in Texas, BUT of all places, a Mexican inspired restaurant chain called Pancho Villa, had the best out of the burgers I tried... (I had a burger @ Roast, Daddy's Dinner, Hesburger, and Pancho Villa --- For some reason, just about every burger I ate, had a very compressed consistency, and almost tasted like a soy bean burger...)

Either way, if you want a burger in Tampere, try the Garlic Burger @ Pancho Villa.

Had the Naughty Burger w/o blue cheese.

They put cheddar or something on it anyway, which was fine because I forgot to ask if they could put something else on it. The place was PACKED even around 3PM on a Saturday. I suggest finding a seat first if you're with company and then order, else you might not have anywhere to eat.

Best bun I've had In Helsinki, and the bacon jam adds a sweet kick that was unexpected.
The patty was juicy and around medium well+.

Overall, best burgers I've had in the Helsinki area, and the sweet potato fries were great!

I had the chicken schwarma. It was a lot of food for the money, but there may have been a bit too much sauce (I assume it was toum?) and it may be a bit too salty, even for an American... Regardless, I plowed through it as a lightweight and fully sober; would eat again, just with a request of "light on the sauce."

On my recent visit to Tampere, this was the only Asian inspired restaurant I had the opportunity of experiencing. .. I liked it so much that I went twice.

The food quality was very good! It was fresh and hand prepared... I had the Veggie + Chicken + Curry + Garlic, and the Veggie + Chicken + Mild Hot + Garlic dishes. They cut the veggies and chicken Julienne I believe, and it was easy to eat with chop sticks.

Given this place was at the foodstation the price was higher than it could have been, but just about all food in Finland is about 2-3 times the cost of what food costs where I'm from. (Texas)

Give Zok Wok a try if you're in Tampere, it's just as good if not better than some of the Asian inspired places in the USA.
