Just for a change, we tried different types of japanese warm food and starters instead of sushi (which anyway looked absolutely fresh and fabulous on the other tables). Everything was good and very nicely presented, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. A very cute place!

Sushi is delicious, and the temaki are a must-try, as well as the umeshu plum liquor that gives the name to the restaurant. Once we just asked for the chef's "dish of the day" (they invite you to ask so, on their website) and we were served a delicious white fish with shitake mushrooms, herbs and a tasty sauce: very nice surprise dish!

The food is absolutely delicious and unique. Great range of different flavors, quite uncommonly refreshing for european taste. The idea that you order different dishes and share it with all your friends makes it a cool place for groups. But the lovely interior design makes it a great place for a date, too! Their cocktails are seriously delicious and unique. Totally recommend it!

Very interesting fusion food, I recommend to take the 7-dishes menu. Quite chic place, if you are dressed too informally a certain waitresses will give you a snob glare (this happened more than one year ago, probably they fired her already)... but in general the staff is nice and professional.

Great beers and ciders, the lingonberry cider ("lempipuolukka") is the best EVER! ! Toasts are delicious, if you take a tasty one accompain it with their smoky dark beer :)

Their curry dishes are very good and genuine. I ate them more than in one occasions, and if you are brave ask for "keski plus" (medium hot) spiciness level ;) I really like also beef&onions and tofu&mushroom dishes, very tasty. The staff is very fast and also nice: if you chit chat a bit with them they will even remember you the next time you go there (and they will treat you well)
