Restaurant: Patrona Modern Mexican Kitchen mexican

Patrona had been on our restaurant list for a really long time.

Me and my friends, two from Texas with a serious history of having experienced great Mexican food in Houston, San Antonio and Mexico itself; and two not as familiar with this particular cuisine. All four of us were blown away with the complex marriage of flavors in all of the dishes presented.

The fine-dining (tasting menu) option from the Chefs contains dishes with a greater mix of flavors and ingredients. Portions, while not overly generous, were more than adequate. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive without being obtrusive.
I just had the most amazing and epic Mexican meal of my life.
Try also the cocktails and the tequilas, the ones we tried were unique and well done....

The restaurant was very pretty, with walls made up of bricks. I liked the modern decor, the cool light fixtures, and the colorful art all around the place.
Overall Patrona will change the way you think of Mexican food-forever.

Restaurant: Gaijin

This is such a unique dining experience. My dinner companion had eaten there before. We have visited numerous restaurants and she suggested that I would enjoy Gaijin. Everything was superbly presented. All we had to do was to order a sake, and enjoy the food, the flavors were so rich and different that we were able to savor each bite. The experience itself was wonderful. The atmosphere was like dining at a little gourmet restaurant in a local neighborhood in Japan.
Overall it was a 4-star experience for me.

Restaurant: Farang modern asian

Hungry after a long day of shopping, my girlfriend and I were looking for something new to try and remembered reading about Farang on a magazine a few days ago. Now the only Thai food I've ever had was from a restaurant in NY which is alright but I was pretty excited to try something a little more Modern.
Making our way into the restaurant, we were kindly seated and drinks to be ordered.
Prices were reasonable for the amount of food and quality presented.
Overall, the meal was great. Needless to say we will be returning soon!
