Palvelu ystävällistä, mukavan rento tunnelma, hyvät kahvit ja suklaakakut aivan loistavia.

Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja kiireestä huolimatta kohtuu nopeaa. Rakennustyömaakaan ei häirinnyt paljoa, tosin sisällä oli melko lämmin koska ovea ei voinut remontin takia pitää auki.

Good coffee place, but slightly spotty service and quality for a specialty roastery. In my three visits to Taikapapu, I have gotten the distinct impression that the place is undersized - getting a seat is usually a problem and customers crowd up in the counter room, getting in the way of the patrons.

The coffee itself is fresh and well-extracted. Unfortunately, their usual espresso blend seems way too roastey to be enjoyable to me. It lacks the chocolatey taste that I would expect from a specialty roastery blend. Perhaps they went through a few bad batches, but I´ve only been able to enjoy milk-based drinks at the place.

As far as milk goes, I have another complaint. Though the milk is generally steamed correctly and served at the proper temperature, the foam quality is nowhere near what I would expect from a specialty roastery. The foam does not stand up properly and the latte art has universally been clumsily done. If this were just a cafe or lunch place, I would be happy. But for a place trying to be a specialty coffee shop, it is slightly disheartening.

The cakes and lunch offerings are a mixed bag. I enjoyed the carrot cake, but the slice served was rather small for its price. The sandwiches are nothing to write home about.

I get the sense that this place could put more pride into the coffee they serve, but they don´t because customers don´t require it.

If you want a decent cup of joe and a bite, come here. If you want the best coffee in Tampere, search elsewhere.

Kahvinjuojille varmasti yksi Tampereen parhaimmista paikoista. Tunnelma on kotoisa, mutta tila saattaa käydä ahtaaksi, jos on paljon väkeä liikkeellä. Palvelussa ei moitittavaa. Olen itse teenjuoja, mutta täällä oli pakko kokeilla Cafe Au Lait ja tykkäsin. Pullakin oli tuoretta.

Paikka on muuttunut yhdestä Tampereen parhaista paikoista ehdottomasti huonoimmaksi. Leipä ja varsinkin juusto oli niin kuivaa etteivät hampaat siihen pystyneet. Myyjän kommentti oli elämäni tylyin: "näit itse mitä olit ostamassa". Ei koskaan enää tänne.

Onneksi jaksoimme uusina Tamperelaisina etsiä paikkaa rakennustyömaankin takaa. Erinomainen palvelu, seurani oli oikein tyytyväinen kahviinsa. Omaksi ilokseni myös ei-kahvia juovat oli huomioitu hyvällä valinnanvaralla ja saamani kaakao oli eriomainen. Taatusti käymme jatkossakin!

Mahtava tunnelma, loistavaa kahvia ja hauskaa iloista palvelua! Jokaisen paremman kahvin ystävän must-see!

Äärettömän hyvää kahvia, aika varmasti Tampereen parasta. Tunnelma on mukava, rauhallinen paikka istuskella.

Kantapaikka, jossa tulee käytyä useita kertoja viikossa. Mutkatonta ja mukavaa palvelua, joka tuntuu olevan harvinaista monessa Tampereen kahvilassa. Nykyinen kulkureitti paikalle on hieman hankala remonttityömaan vuoksi.
